Pakistani cricket balls should be used in test cricket
Pakistani cricket balls with a prominent seam which lasts for a long time have been the main reason for a few low scoring seasons in QE Azam trophy.

PP, can you explain to me why Pakistan have dropped Fawad Alam from their ODI squad? What on Earth has he done wrong? Every time I see him he looks calm, composed and in control at the crease- A bit like JP Duminy.

he is doing well in the current domestic tournament but i guess the selection was based on OD pentangular cup which was held a couple of months ago where he didn't do well in 3 games.

No but the captains are allowed to carry creepy things in their pockets.

yeah they are decent balls but this Pakistani ball is like a rock. Using it in test cricket will really make life difficult for the evil batsmen.doremi wrote:Don't the duke and sg both have prminent seams?

BTW Henry
The most surprising omission for me was that of Nasir Jamsheed. He already has 4 fifties in 9 games including a fine innings vs IND in the Asia cup.
His last 2 scores
53* (43 balls) vs IND
52* (56 bals( vs BAN

So did SL manage to organise a tour of Pakistan?
Is there any test cricket currently on Pakistan's horizon?

yeah...pants seems to be the favorite word on this thread.

BTW, does international cricket, on those rare occasions when it is played in Pakistan, attract decent crowds?

test crowds are poor(like almost every where else in the world)
The ODI crowds are good DESPITE the fact that ticket prices are quite high.

All our crowds are good despite the fact that ticket prices take the piss completely.

If team A is playing a test vs team B in PAK
vs
If team A is playing a test team B in ENG
I will choose to watch the game in ENG at least 8 out of 10 times (will probably skip the 2 games in the London grounds)
Pitches in PAK are THE worst in the world and weather is also NOT very friendly(unless its Karachi)
