I haven't heard of most of the Australians in the draw. Colin Ebelthite? Carsten Ball? Samuel Groth? Bryden Klein? They sound like joke names.

a) their combined age was under 40, and

b) neither of them had the initials LH?

Joker is seeded the same as last year. If he'd won the Sydney tournament last week he'd have the No 2 ranking (although maybe that would have come too late to be reflected in the seedings for this week).
