Did you guys hear Fleming say last night that Hayden told him he never picked up a bat after the WC till he arrived at the T20 comp. Wanted to be fresh said Haydos.

I actually think that Hayden is more likely to go poorly in the Tests if he is in good ODI form. I remember on Australia's tour of India in 2004, he started walking towards the bowlers in the second over of the Test match and holing out, and he ended up having a very poor 12 months because he couldnt control his own arrogance.

Flintoff's done a similar thing - he hasn't picked up a bat since 2005...

That's true and it's what nearly ruined him.
He thought he could lord it over the sub continent as he did previously and fell flat on his face.

Healey got to him and gave him the mother of all dressing downs after the Ashes tour and out went the cook book and in came the bowling machine.
