Bruce Reid

This is some quality bowling. Pity his career wasn't very long.

Cricinfo described his action as, "all arms and legs ... like a porn movie without the sex."

He was a great bowler. I was lucky enough to be at the Brisbane game that summer.

I can imagine it must have been a joy to watch. While I prefer Leg Spin as my form of bowling to watch, Reid is just an excellent example of Fast bowling. The accuracy was perfect. Chris Tremlett for example who with a similar height and action should really watch this guy in Action and learn from him.

Actually, Smerky, Bruce Reid was (and quite possibly still is) Hampshire's bowling coach.

Sadly, all Tremlett has learned from him so far is how to keep getting injured.
