Is Tendulkar a bit of a d*ck?
Was watching the fairly patchy Empire of Cricket documentary on India the other night and Tendulkar was there reminiscing about his mammoth 600 + run schoolboy stand with Vinod Kambli. I've always thought that partnership sounded gruesomely sadistic and out of place for kids cricket but what really struck me is that he seemed to gleefully recall how the poor kids he was utterly massacring were reduced to tears.
Call me a heretic but I think he's a d*ck.

Not seen any of those programmes yet, EAE, ashamed to say, as a cricket lover. Have they unearthed many heretofore unknown, interesting facts?

To an educated cricket fan they're light on substance. Summing up a century's history of a country's cricket in an hour is always going to have its limitations- especially if Mihir Bose is a talking head.

He may be, but his "dick-ness" pales to insignificance beside that of his worshippers . . .

Is Tendulkar a bit of a duck?
A bill?
A wing?
A leg?
A feather?
Be more specific...

Um, would that be he same Wisden that didn't rate any of his innings in the top 100 of all time?

Re: Is Tendulkar a bit of a d*ck?
Anyone who still revels in degrading either Lara or SRT in such a senseless comparision either don't know their cricket or need to have their heads checked. Both are among the greatest the game has seen with equal number of pros and cons in each one's favour or against. They are way beyond such pointless slammings. One has retired and the other is not too long away from retiring as well.
Lets just enjoy whatever greatness SRT still has to offer while we relish in mind the ones Lara gave us.

To be fair to Tendulkar, those kids were racist pickpockets who punched rabbits to death.

Anyone who took my 'serious' post seriously enough also needs to have his head checked!
Anyways the humour quotient in it went past the saturation point a long time back. It's outlived it's shelf date. Anyone who still uses this old wound up stick for deriving 'humour' needs to buy a new joke book. Only wine get better with age. Jokes and women don't!

I would imagine that you have to be in order to be a champion player. I mean, just look at Warne.
