He's annoying good. I wish he would lose form, or develop arthritis so he can't hold a bat any more. I'm a reasonable guy, I wouldn't wish anything more serious on him, but I do really really hate the guy.

I can always appreciate the genius of Tendulkar, the flair of Lara, the incredible slogging ability of Yuvraj. Ponting just makes me want to give up watching cricket. It's more annoying that (most) England bowlers turn into mice when they bowl to him ... "here you go Rick, have another long hop to smash". Pfft!

He is, at least, better to watch than Rahul Dravid.

I don't wish he'd go away, I enjoy watching him bat. I just wish the qlueless qunt would relingquish his grip on the captaincy.

He's good to watch - thorough and quite nuggety. I just wish it wasn't against us. They're going to be put in a good position without some 2005 style collapse.

Call me bitter, but I just feel that bowlers more often than not don't bowl very well to him. He has some clear weaknesses in his game- Weaknesses that imo are clearer than any weaknesses SRT or BCL have/had, but the mugs always seem to run up and bowl on his pads early on.

Well to some extent. But if he has severe known weaknesses, he's managed to disguise them bloody well all around the world to have a test average not far off 60.

Yes, they might have bowled better at him, but the guy's a class act.
