If you are offended because someone says something like "you are a gobshite and a cunt" then fair enough, but swearing in general is alright, we are all adults here.Rob I wrote:vilkrang wrote:

A regular occurance when the Monkey's out of his cage ... with taips, his shadow lurking in the background with his characteristic obtuse one-liners.vilkrang wrote:If you are offended because someone says something like "you are a gobshite and a ******" then fair enough, but swearing in general is alright, we are all adults here.Rob I wrote:vilkrang wrote:

But aye, it only turned "nasty" today ... I wonder why?!

Yesterday, Zim and taipan both called me the q-word. Today, my thread about dropping Fred from the test side and keeping him for ODIs got dredged up, then Monkey, taipan and Zim pitched in with the abuse. All a bit unnecessary, IMO.

Yep, I was aware ... having followed the melee closely!
But, I knew that once I responded to your 3 cleverly worded replies to the Mandrill's bizarre "Flintoff is better than Botham" theory (based solely upon his distorted and self-opinionated views), I'd catch some colourful flak from the him ... but I had planned it ! Taips however, would disagree - he usually does!
Anyway, mine was a rhetorical question - the answer was there for all to see!
Speaking of which ... how's this for bizarre ... Brentford visit Notts County next season where an ex England manager hangs his boots, having last season entertained a team with an ex U21 England manager as their coach! We're moving in wider circles now eh!!

Well seeing they poms are unbackable favourites to win back the ashes, they have to take the frustation out elsewhere.

There's no good reason for that discourtesy, skully. Courtesy costs you nothing.

No the BS about the ïmportant job and the family to look after do.
It might have escaped your attention that dello is not adverse to handing out the abuse when the mood strikes him.

Taips - why don't you get the f**k off this thread .... (Eng v Aust 3rd test - albeit created by a feckin' Jaarpie who has sod all else to do) ...and take your snide and petty remarks and bickering to another one.... in fact go create another one altogether.
In other words .... F**K OFF.... unless you can sensibly contribute to the essence of the thread's title.

Re: England v Australia, 3rd Test, Edgbaston, Jul 30 - Aug 3
Moving on .......
Seems like there's 'chat' this morning in the DT about Harmison maybe getting a gig at Edge instead of the expected Panesar.
Onions looks safe after coming through his elbow injury ...
can't see the selectors changing a winning team though ... so Broadly looks safe.
And i other news .... Ricky was surprised at the heckling he got at Lord's ... as he said, one ground he
didn't expect to be heckled.
Word in his shell-like ... Rick ... get used to it ol's son. You dish it, we'll dish it. Simple!!

taips - I really really feel sorry for you ol' son.
You're a sad old f**k who has nowt better to do than constantly get yourself involved in other peoples rants/melees/disagreements ... it's like like you actually need scraps for you to thrive on.
NOW THAT is known as BANDWAGONING
PS Im' comfortable with my inarticulate-ness.
Now f**k off.
