He's just trying to make Australia bowl first if they win the toss.

I'm not sure what playing on Jelly involves. It doesn't sound practical- can't they just play on clay & grass like they normally do?

Might work to our advantage then given our experience of Trent Bridge '07...

As slips fielders, they're pretty even, with Kallis budging it.
Consider that Kallis has more chances, because
1. Fred bowls more overs
2. Kallis fielded at slip to Donald and Pollock, whereas Fred didn't.

If I had to choose between Fred and Kallis for one place in a World XI - it would be Fred.

What a difference a week makes.
Last week certain poms here were suggesting dropping Flintoff after his poor performance in Cardiff.

Can't be bothered, besides, they know who they are and they best be lying low.
Re: England v Australia, 3rd Test, Edgbaston, Jul 30 - Aug 3
Mmm. I don't honestly remember anyone saying Flintoff should be dropped. I remember a few pointing out that his figures were no better than Broad's and lots of people wanted him dropped, but that's not the same.

Aye shows him up to be a shitboy fair weather qunt. He probably didn't watch the match, Fred didn't bowl as badly as his figures suggest. F*cking weako, weakington, weakweak.

It's turning back into something fairly nasty for the moment. Swearing isn't big or clever - it just makes you look inarticulate, and rather small-minded and ugly.

I've been away for only a few days and it's all nasty again?
Shame, has been pretty awesome for the most part these last couple of weeks.
And if you are offended by swearing then grow some f*cking balls.
