Amazing that both Australians and Englishmen were touting Swann to make a major impact in this series but at the moment he is being spanked to all parts.

26 off Swann's first three overs.

Doesn't look like it atm.
But he was bending down okay in the field yesterday. So who knows...?

Not even as an organ donor.

The Aussies were always going to "target" Swann. No surprise he has gone for a few. It is about whether Strauss's nerve breaks before the batsmen take one chance too many. Sufficient runs on the board would help though

Are we still watching different games, drspin? No less rivetting but I bet you are enjoying it now. Excellent spell from England after lunch.

They're targetting Swann, but he's also bowling a bad ball every over at the moment.

All the pressure England had built up has evaporated since Swann came on...

was truly excellent bowling from England. But possibly tipping back Oz's way with the assault on Swann. Clarke does not look right at all though. Should be 4 down soon.
It is the sort of match where wickets may well fall in clusters, mainly due to both side's bats being somewhat dodgy.[i]
Told you so!

He's bowled four overs of dogshit thus far.
While the other bowlers have felt their way into this match, he's all over the place.
Re: Australia v England, 1st Test, Brisbane, Nov 25-29, 2010
Hussey looks bedded in for the day to me. Haven't seen him in such good touch for ages.
