horace wrote:bizarre that the arrogant spivs intend to keep selecting Alcatraz (he who bowls with a bent wing) and that the ACB allows this...at the same time clint mcKay was not allowed to play the BB against the Worst Australians as he was made to go to Hobart on standby...I remember Bollybogan being released to play for the spivs when on a similar standby situation...one spurious rule for the supine spivs and another for the other states
So your point is???
As for Birdman, 1 delivery in 24 is outside the limit and he cops a suspension, meanwhile mumu gets the laws adjusted to suit his own pinging. go figure.

Looks like uberYT has rescued the Dubbers somewhat in the Franger match against the Barrels.

Steve Smith played a blistering innings but missed his ton.
It was quite amusing to hear the commentators say that Cosgrove's absence leaves a hole in the SA line-up.

3 games to go for all states and it's pretty tight:

Tasmania - 16 points (0.191 NRR)
Victoria - 13 points (0.1 NRR)
Western Aus - 13 points (-0.11 NRR)
NSW - 13 points (-0.212 NRR)
South Aus - 12 points (-0.425 NRR)

It's nice that we have the Sozzies. They're like the retarded youngest kid in the family.

Ake Skully, another game they had by the proverbials and they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Re: Australian State Cricket - 09-10 season
Hodge out for 139.
Record for Vic in ODD is 140 by Chris Rogers.
And the highest aggregate in ODD in Aus is held by Jimmy Maher. Hodge is 21 short of that. If his career of being near enough is to finish appropriately, he'll score 19 altogether in his remaining ODD matches for Victoria.
And I'll laugh.

Well, that should be worth a Podge watch thread. I imagine you and I won't be the only ones hoping for a Podge EPIC FAIL in the final two games.
Still, it's typical of the NSP. Possibly the most cement footed but best Limited Overs players in the country and he couldn't get a game - while Pup farts around hitting singles since his JAMODI/JAMITT career started.
