Chappaquiddick Ted dead
Like the bastardised alliteration.

Re: Chappaquiddick Ted dead
Doesn't alliteration means that all the words begin with the same letter?

In the English speaking world it does.

It was previous unclear as to whether Queensland belonged there or not.

No just the stress on the syllables with the letter in them, or starting with them and anyway I said it was bastardised, and the point is the old dinosaur finally called it a day.

D's a good letter for alliteration along with L Esp in poetry.

I get Chappaquiddick Ted confused with Punxsutawney Phil.
Which is which?
or who is who?

Does 46-years service make up for what he did at Chappaquiddick?
Perhaps it would have had he bore the consequences of his actions, but he got away scott free.
I have much more respect for his three elder brothers.
May he rest in peace.

That line reminds me of Nixon's interview with Frost. He said "No one knows how it feels to resign the presidency. Is that punishment enough? Probably not."

Respect comes in all kinda guises Hass.
The Kennedy clan, if bio's, press clippings and historians are to be believed, were nothing less than a ruthless Irish mafia outfit, founded on prohibition busting whisky imports from Canada.
Jack tried to form a dynasty that floundered with his assassination; Bobby liked power (Attorney General) but was also assasinated whilst Ted was just a coward. Even John Jr (Jack's son) died mysteriously in a plane crash a few years back...
You've got to think that a lot of people must have both loathed and distrusted the Kennedy's to have had the family encounter such "misfortunes" over the decades ... either that or they were the most misunderstood bunch of respectable Bostonites!!
It's also claimed that parts of the the film "Road to Perdition" was loosely based on the clan's activities.
PS - Both Jack and Bobby jumping Monroe within 48 hours of ach other ... strange lot those Kennedys.

Nothing I guess, unless you like batting on worn and sticky wickets!

FFS Merlin, you have no hope of selection in a footy team in Australia if you have that kind of attitude!

Would have ...in a flash.
No brainer.
But not so soon after a couple of Kennedy's had berthed alongside her.
