At least you get to know what effect the stuff has on you. It is usually those who only drink occasionally who make fools of themselves at office parties, not the regular sinners. Notwithstanding the reputation of the nightspots of Bangkok, the Thais are actually fairly conservative as far as baring flesh in public is concerned: They even swim fully clothed. Perhaps this couple was told that Thais don't wear swimsuits on the beach, and got it terribly wrong... mybad
