South Africa v Windies C/D team, ICCCT warm up
South Africa are 47/0 after 5 Overs Tino Best 0/27 off 3. Kemar Roach 0/20 off 2. Great stuff. I hope the WICB is proud of their motley crew.

Jeepers, SA 388-4 at the 50. Even Kallis's strike rate approached 100 with 86 off 90

So we're not quite as bad as the WI C/D team then, quite a relief...

How can you tell that, we haven't played South Africa yet... I'd guess they are a fair bit stronger than the current Australian ODI side, assuming the game in question isn't a semi-final...JKLever wrote:So we're not quite as bad as the WI C/D team then, quite a relief...

It's a pity, we're not in the same group as the Windies - we might have come close to beating them.

That was what is known in the Caribbean as a cutarse.
Also shock horror, the much vaunted SA pacers were hit about by Richards and Fletcher before they both gave their hand away and as soon as the left arm spinner came on all hell broke loose. The warm up match against Sri Lanka on Sunday is not going to be pretty.

They were bowled out for 200 odd chasing 390.
Today their playing against SL. They batted first and made 201 all out. Dale Richards scored 59 (60) and Devon Smith scored 67 (102) before Murali and Mendis came on and caused an immediate collapse (shock horror).
SL are 129/4 after 33 overs chasing and were in early trouble to the likes of Darren Sammy, Tino Best and Dave Bernard Jr. Not looking too good for them in this tournament if the warm ups are any indication.
