Odd that Justin Kemp has been dropped just one game after Mickey Arthur said they were going to give him "Plenty of opportunity to establish himself at number 5".

Why is there so little interest in this series? Where have all the Pak forummers gone?

Seems like it's only Indians, Aussies, and English on the forum these days. With the odd guest appearance from WIFAN (West Indies) and DJ Smerk (New Zealand).

And we have a winner, of course it could have been the other plonker.

South Africa won, BTW, to square the series:

Actually, Smerky is Welsh. You're forgiven though - sheep botherers must look very alike whatever their nationality

IMO Shaun Pollock is still a force ... I can't understand why he's not moved up the order in Tests as well, he's still got the skills to play as a batting all-rounder even if his bowling has fallen away a little. IMO if he moves up to 5-6 he'll play with more application and get more useful runs than if he continues to come in at 8-9, with minimal support to follow.

Seems to me he bats better (and bowls better) than Boeta, Prince, Rudolph, Amla, and a few of the other middle order players that have been tried in recent times.
Smith, Kallis, de Villiers, Gibbs, Pollock, Prince, Boucher, Harris, Ntini, Steyn, Nel ... looks a useful line-up. If Kallis is going to crab, stick him up front. He's got the technique and the application to get through the early overs.
