'Playing For Change'
I have posted a link to this YouTube Channel before, but here's a wonderful collaboration I hadn't see before. Check out the blues, rock et al royalty on this one.

Re: Time for a music thread
Okay, so this guy from Finland is probably my favourite musician at the moment. Even a simple melody like this, with solo, he carries with class ... and I don't for once even mind the e-organ.

absolutely, major influence on Bert Jansch and John Martyn too ... Angi is a rite of passage for acoustic guitarists. His style of note bending is of interest and was copied (and improved) by Jansch.

Aye Qmy. 49 years since Woodstock this month. Hendrix played the last set (inc All along the Watchtower Mr K). Jimi also played the a wondrous deconstruction of the Star Spangled Banner. As relevant today as then. Trump would call it fake music and build a wall of noise proofing around it.

For all you Hendrix fans out there .... look away now:
The wailing guitarist is Nguyên Lê.
I probably posted this before, a few years back, on this same thread. But as long as there's music. And angels.

Well le (not even going to try to put the phonetics in) is all over the shop. The slip into some form of jazz is interesting, though scrapper was criticised for the same.
You can see Hendricks ripping off licks from scrapper but le doing no justice to Hendricks despite the attempt at his Woodstock masterclass just prior to the trumpet.

But why stop in one small corner of the shop?
World music, not store muzak.
