There's more in the interview, but I thought his comments on Ponting were interesting, astute, and spot on. Ponting does play the game hard, and nothing wrong with that at all:

Yes, I thought it was a fascinating article - far more of an insight than you usually get with the anodyne rubbish normally put out there. Kind of surprising really, but rather welcome. Martin Samuel might be fat git, but he's a good journalist and interviews well.

To the original topic, and IMO there's a place for a bit of attitude on the cricket field. But for anyone to say the way Drunky goes about it should be admired is a bit silly. Then again, it's Broad talking, and he doesn't seem real bright.
