It looks like democracy has died in Pakistan.The man is showing his true colours.I guess it will be the finish of Australia touring Pakistan as well.

Democracy wasn't exactly alive and kicking there before today's news, but this is a grim turn of events.

Shocking and Disgraceful. I don't think I could cope with Australia never touring Pakistan again.

That is one tour I'm looking forward to the most.

Democracy or emergency under military dictatorship, what Pakistan really needs today is ruthless cleansing of ever growing terrorists backed by right wing religious fanatics. It is almost out of control now.

If a hard-nose military dictatorship can help eradicating that, so be it. Show me an islamic state where democacy is firmly established. Pakistan progressed most during the dictatorship of Gen. Mohd. Ayub Khan.

If Pakistan progressed most under Ayub Khan, Pakistan hasn't had a very pretty history.

Erm, Pakistan hasn't beaten Australia in a Test since 1995, Australia has won the last 5 series and has won the last 9 Tests on the trot.

And we beat pakistan in pakistan last time we played, even though it was 1-0 we dominated all the tests.

We also beat them 3-0 in sri lanka/sharja conditions which are pretty much exactly what you get in pakistan.
