Gayle has done a McGrath and predicted a 4-1 win to the Windies despite their injury crisis.

Bowden can hear snicks that aren't there.

If you leave harper out of the equation, he is the worst umpire on the panel imo.

Did we miss a trick by not playing McKay? His mix of slower balls might have proved effective

Looks like the Windies could be even worse than Pakistan. Why did Gayle choose to face the Aussie bowlers under lights?

A wonderful advert for the 50 over variety of the great game. Suspect

A tedious and scratchy effort by Aus after SG and Drunky looked like they might take the Windies apart, and then a total crapulent "chase" by Crystal's boys that was done by the 6th over.

what was gayle thinking he won the toss he should have batted, but unless he didn't trust his batsmen to get a decent score to defend.

It's really funny how many times the Aussie press has gone mad when Gayle has said something silly in a press conference because he's bored or they ask an annoying question. They really just don't get his humour.

In the last few months Gayle has fed them stories such as he would have been a Premiership footballer if he didn't make it at cricket (they ran an article on this when he was playing for WA) and that we will beat the Aussies 4-1 despite missing everyone who is even half decent apart from himself and Roach.

Yet they fall for it every time.

Aye, but even so there would be something wrong if he said he expected to lose 4-1.

Unanswered question from this match. Gayle is apparently more concerned about his team's batting than the bowling. Why then would he elect to bowl during the day, giving the Aus batsmen the best conditions to bat in, and teh WIndies batsmen the challenge of batting under lights? Sure, it might not have made much difference, but why make Drunky's job easier?
