In the bag.
Are any of the Afghan cricketers ethnically Afghani or are they imports?

They're mostly Afghan born, be it Kabul or Kandahar, so more Afghani than England is English.
edit: a check reveals that all XI players are Afghan born.
Anyway, we have an Afghanistan thread:

Use the search function then you lazy bastard. The steady lapse of time is no excuse for bewildering ignorance of that which came before.

Re: Afghanistan chasing to an exciting finish - going down now
It depends what you call god. If you were to assign to somebody or something the name or title of God then there would indeed be a god, if not a frightening multitude of gods, even if I doubt that that would pacify the droves of people who are not searching simply for something entitled god but for the entity that god represents aka the god. Though whether such a god would answer to the name god or understand what we meant when we called it god, I do not know. Maybe that is why we cannot find God, because we don't know what we're looking for. Just because you create something and give it a name doesn't mean it is what you think it is. I personally expect that we may some day find something that we think is god and that fits with our naive ideology of what god is, but that doesn't make such a thing the actual god we originally theorised and prophesied about.

Where have they all learned to play to this standard? I presumed cricket was banned by the Taliban.
Probably India & Pak?
