bump for skully thread
aah Autumn when it is glorious in Melboune and as is now the custom - the Shield Final is hosted by the Vix.
This year again it is Queensland v Victoria...(what is wrong with the dubbers and the other States?)..
A ferocious contest is anticipated between the two rivals...as opposed to those two b grade teams playing in snoozieville
let the fun begin!!!
by the way I wonder who the neutral FB'ers are supporting ???

stinky is more an apt description of an odour associated with that medical condition known as spivitis

Jeez, what a final. Horrie and Nath barring up on one side, Mick Sawyer and qmy throwing off a quick one on the other.
Can we hope for the entire city of Melbourne to be the victim of a sudden gravitational collapse?

Re: bump for skully thread
It could be a draw, with rain fatefully intervening when Queensland is all over Victoria, well on top, perhaps within five runs or 1 wicket of victory.
That would be a shame.
Really it's hard to imagine anything worse than either of these teams winning the Shield. Except a NSW or SA win.

lol at all the above...play due to begin on a beautiful Melb day (aren't they all?)...thread back where it belongs...
btw I heard Mabo on the radio giving an impassioned defence of the 'final'....said the ACB would have blood on their hands if they knocked it off in favour of T20

Dunno. We just get a little worried up here when he is interviewed. He is occasionally not completely PC.

the honorable WW is one of the great exceptions to the rule of all anglo saxon billies possessing bright red necks...mabo (and slaw) always struck me as being the typical strummers of the banjo
