as for festiball it has always been something of an embarassment that we mostly win that comp too...still those sydneyites in their jolly pale blue shirts deserved their win

Ta Mick
slaw, sadly for the bills, offended all the other states and so there is not likely to an end in this for some time...
Nick jewell in his post game speech to the team talked about how the blokes in the next dressing room had inflicted a bit of pain on Vic in the past and so it was nice they were copping some back

I was thinking that the Vic payback regime must have an interest rate calculated by Don Corleoni.

Our very own nob. Without doin' the Gabba D thing, I've been about the sheds a couple of times. Enough to confirm the reputation is not just bad press alone.

Re: bump for skully thread
The ref to Hopes injury made me recall the lamentable Shortkeeper's reaction to the 03-04 result - it was Just Not Fair that Vic didn't set Qld a realistic target and besides, itt was Just Not Faiir that the two teams played both their home and away games early in the season.
I think he blew the Sookometer into a million pieces.

Re: bump for skully thread
'Just Not Fair' - a phrase used by supporters of the team that didn't win, because the team that did win decided to make damn certain of their victory instead of providing any chance of victory. Often heard after Sheffied Shield finals, or during many Ashes series between 1989 and 2005.
