Derbyshire
Derbyshire will become the "Falcons" in one-day cricket in 2010, having previously been the "Scorpions" (1999-2004) and "Phantoms" (2005-2009) since counties adopted one-day nicknames in 1999.

Only because Glamorgan isn't in England.

If by vastly superior you mean equally crap then I agree. You can go and check last year's tables if you like

Re: Derbyshire
Last time we won was in 1997, then before that in1969 and even before that in 1948.
The crop of overseas players we had in 1997 was a large reason for our victory (Waqar, Viv Richards to name a few).

James Harris and Dean Cosker will tear apart the Div 2 batting orders this season.

It beggars belief that a thread about Derbyshire could stagger onto a second page.

Re: Derbyshire
Well I don't really support any counties, I'm just a neutral observer. But good luck to Glamorgan this season. If everything goes your way, might scrape that last promotion spot. Pretty unlikely though.

Only if someone writes them down on a piece of tissue paper. Even then, I'm backing the paper.
