Should Derbyshire fans kill themselves?
What is it like being a Derbyshire fan?
What is it like going through life with no expectations? With only the mind numbing, spirit crushing inevitability of complete nothingness to look forward to? When only the sight of Davey Houghten commenting on some thrid rate Pro40 game brings about a slight erection. When you yearn for the days of watching Dominic Cork trundle in like a cocky tart?

Conspicous by LLL's absence actually.
I would have to say I'd think about it.

Derbyshire fans should enter LLL?
Well I guess it gives them something to look forward to.

I don't remember Derbyshire having a team that was anything other than 'filth'.
They're lucky to have FC status.

I take it LLL is a derby fan then...
Maybe if he entered himself it would be an achievement. Like John Malkovich in that film where he's John Malkovich.

As an Essex fan I get the feeling I may be feeling a bit 'derbyshire' the next few seasons.

Essex will work it out.
Write them a letter: Play more batsmen. Be less bad.
That'll do the trick.

Re: What is it like being a Derbyshire fan?
At least we've got the excuse of 2 batsmen playing with the national team.
Direbyshire even with being Kolpak central are carp.
Infact they're so carp, they get games delayed there by sunlight.

Being bad is fine though, at least you have the *rse clenching tenseness of a relegation battle to look forward (unless you're at the bottom of DIV 2...). It's being completely nondescript that must be a p*sser.
Like being an Aston Villa fan.

I've herd some rave reviews from friends who play in the Essex league.

He's getting a chance because basically we have no one else apart from 17 year olds. Top scored in the Somerset game with 72
Decent prospect - hasn't really dominated at his age level though.

Fair enough, Youth cricket is not always the ultimate determinator but cool. Hope he does ok. You need another batter to add to the two you have at the moment.

They used to have a team with Dominic Cork, Devon Malcolm, Phil Defreitas and Chris Adams in it and not a kolpac in sight. Karl Krikken was a fine old keeper to boot.
Being a Surrey fan is like swimming in the bedpan of an Angel.

How many people get to be buggered by Satan? Better than being buggered by Alan Titchmarsh which would be the equivalent of being a Middlesex fan.

I think you can still look yourself in the eye if you've been buggered by Titchmarsh.
There's no dignity in being f***ed by Satan.
