The US Masters 2010
The bookies are giving Tiger ridiculously short odds considering he has played competitive tournament for 5 months.
The smart money is on Ernie Els, who has won the last 2 PGA tour events, or maybe even the 50 year old Fred Couples, who has been in scintilating form on the champions tour and already has a couple of green jackets under his belt.

I thought Fred had only won one GJ? As for Tiger, he's a spoilt qunt but I wouldn't back against him. Though I slept through the Slipper and saved myself a fortune by not backing Military Rose. So I'm probably not the best form guide in the world.

Maybe not, but seems to have a bit of hunger back.
If Tiger wins it will be bad for the game imho.

This will be an interesting case study. Does a JGK endorsement (or anti-endorsement) have the same effect when publicly pointed out before the event?

He's stuffed it by saying he liked the guy. Should have said he hated his guts to get the full JGK/Damien/Nostradamus thing going.

Re: The US Masters 2010
I've taken Luke Donald at 100/1 to finish in the top 5.

Donald's 80/1 to WIN on the NSW TAB, 12/1 to finish top 5, or you can get 20/1 on him winning with a ten-stroke handicap, or 5/1 on a top-10 finish.
Your 100s is good value!

Aye, I thought Coral's was overly generous ... but 12/1 a place??!! WTF?Zat wrote:Donald's 80/1 to WIN on the NSW TAB, 12/1 to finish top 5, or you can get 20/1 on him winning with a ten-stroke handicap, or 5/1 on a top-10 finish.

Here we get 1/4 the odds - so my 100/1 pays 25/1 if Donald finishes 2nd thru to 5th.
Met Luke a couple of weeks ago on our local golf course (his folks live locally) - he felt bullish - so I figured a pony eachway on him was worthwhile.
9/2 for Woods is a waste IMO... rumour has it that every green is gonna have blonde haired big-titted females loitering with intent so as to put him off his strokes ...!

Re: The US Masters 2010
aye ...
Bloody Luke Donald's drifted to 125/1 now after his poor first round 2 over ... still, he was 4 over after 8 holes - so in there scrapping still, I guess!
Woods was 13/2 - for some reason, drifted here late this evening ... so I put a saver 10 e/way on him.
Didn't see watson in left field ... bugger.

And here I was thinking this thread had something to do with golf.
Will Tiger now emulate Faldo in his choice of a caddy? If so, hope he has a better taste for legs.
