Hilditch - safe in his job for another year, zero accountability, does what he likes. CA's NSP is the sporting equivalent of the US merchant banks.

And CA compound the lunacy by giving Bung another contract. I guess they had no choice given Bung is still an international. DGiH.

Hilditch described his perseverance with Lee as a "leap of faith" but one worth taking given the fast bowler's decorated record in limited overs cricket and with the 2011 50-over World Cup on the horizon.

"Brett at his best is certainly still in our thoughts for 50-over and T20 cricket," he said.

In other words, before he broke down for the umpteenth time he did all right when he was fully fit. Of course he's now well into his 30s, which means he'll take longer to recover, and mightget somewhere near his best. So I'll make sure he gets the courtesy that Steve Waugh never did in the latter stages of his career.
