Re. Wasim, although he was a fantastic bowler with amazing control, I think you will find here that he does not "make it" in PP's book as a true speedster (although given his short, almost ambling stroll to the wicket, the ball came out pretty sharpish from what I could see.)
As a pair W&W were quite an act.

Wasim had a huge variation of deliveries - he didn't depend solely on sheer pace.
Some years ago, we played Essex in a one-day final ... I forget which - the last big final in September ( win the toss - bowl - win the game ). One of his early overs he bowled six different deliveries, every one of them quite unplayable. Yes, the conditions really helped him, but it was still one of the most awesome spells of bowling you could wish to witness.

There hasn't been a great genuinely FAST bowler since the Windies bowlers in the 80's. Since then we've seen lots of FAST but INCONSISTENT quicks.

So now the Aussie flag is flying proudly over Islamabad, Dhaka, Delhi and Colombo. Shaun Tait has been declared the president of the region with Nannes as his deputy.

Good luck with the exams - if you are capable of constructing a convincing argument that Shoaib was more reliable and effective than McGrath in testing conditions (and not at all injury prone / pea-hearted) then you should be able to pass with flying colours.
Gary,
I passed...
