Who is the worlds best fast bowler?
It's not very clear at the moment. Clark? Ntini? Asif? Bond? Hoggard? Shoaib? Lee?
Clark and Asif's careers are still very young, and Bond has trouble staying fit for more than 2 tests in a row. Shoaib hasnt played a test for close to a year, and Lee is very inconsistent. I guess when you consider experience, ability to stay fit, and career records, it comes down to a choice between Ntini and Hoggard. Id go for Hoggard, as he has a proven ability to take wickets away from home on pitches that dont suit him, unlike Ntini, who struggles on slower, lower pitches.

No. Ntini is a HTB and Hoggard isn't that good. Asif, Clark and Bond look to me to be the best around atm.

Umar Gul is getting better.
Nel may not be the most liked, but he is also a pretty good bowler aswell.
Daren Powell from the Windies aswell has promise, just needs the right direction and care.

There really isn't a clear leader.
Asif bond and clark seem like the bst around but they haven't played enough tests to be sure.

Bond would be clear leader, but he can't last more than 2 tests without damaging some part of his anatomy or another. The rest are much of a muchness.

What a bunch of one-armed hick jokes.
Two injury-prone, one being a showpony. Two fledglings and one dross-weasel. That leaves Hoggard. Who hasn't played much at all this year.

Bond if he could stay fit.
Hoggard's done it in most places in the world.

If Bond can get on the list, surely Flintoff can?
He was fearsome in the India ODI series. Or at least, the games he played in.

South Africa's Morne Morkel has all the tools to be the worlds best fast bowler in 2-3 years time. He's Steve Harmison with a good, consistent bowling action.

I'd say right now Stuart Clark and Mohd Asif are big contenders for world's best pace bowler.
