I rekon he should be rushed in to replace Clarke who got his second straight duck in the tour game against Middlesex.

No argument from me. Strengthen the batting and the bowling. And p!ss that Qunt M'Kay off while you're at it.Big Dog wrote:WideWally wrote:It would appear that Hilfy has learned how to bat during his time on the sidelines. 42 & 50 in this game. I see Barrel Peter george has got all 5 wickets in the 2nd dig. Lankans need another 200 with 5 wickets in hand on the last day.

Aust A wrapped it up with a 107 run win. Hilfy ran through the middle order taking a Michelle to go with his half ton.
Good to see him get back into the swing so early after such a long break.

Ah, cheers, BD. Well done to the boys. And good to see Milf in form. May he continue it through next summer.

Although BD's "middle order" claim is a bit rich. Peter George got the first 5 wickets, Milf got the last 5.

Re: Aust. A v Sri Lankan A
An absolute belter of a pitch was produced at Riverway Stadium in Townsville for the 2nd Unofficial Test. When Sri Lanka A won the toss they had no hesitation in batting first but they didn't take into consideration the tactical genius of Australia A skipper, George Bailey & were bundled out for 78.

Join the bandwagon now. George Bailey for Australia captain!

This Peter George chap is going OK. 4-13 to follow his 5-fer in the 2nd innings of the first match. Mebee they should get him over to England instead of Qunt M'Kay?

Looks as though there might be some truth in this rumour. Hilfy making his first test half century today.
