FMD, Senanayke took 8/70. Luckily Dubber O'Keeffe was there to give the score some respectibility (along with MILF).

It's no wonder the selectors have bias towards dubbers. Every other qunt lets them down

Is Steve O'Keefe the new Ray Bright?
I think he might be. He just destroyed the Sri Lankan first innings with 7/35 after topscoring with the bat.

Bit harsh. Didn't Bright bat out a painful zero once so Dougie could get a century?

Re: Aust. A v Sri Lankan A
That was Jimmy Higgs, famously given not out by Robin Bailhache (during the last wicket stand with KDW) when Lance Cairns bounced him, flicked his glove and Bailhache ruled not out on the grounds of a shot-lived rule regarding intimidatory bowling. It was early in the partnership. They went on to add 60 for the last wicket, with Dougie making over 50 of them.
It was this Test.
It was Dougie's last Test ton.

I've seen Stephen O'Keefe bowl. He's ordinary. There's some sort of crisis going on here.

Re: Aust. A v Sri Lankan A
A great captain's knock today by George Bailey. He really should be rushed straight into the test team - as captain.
I reckon Australia would benefit from having a Tasmanian skipper.

Re: Aust. A v Sri Lankan A
It would appear that Hilfy has learned how to bat during his time on the sidelines. 42 & 50 in this game. Yet to find the same form with the ball but I guess he just needs plenty of overs to find his rhythm again.
