England v Australia, 1st ODI, Rosebowl, June 22, 2010

Bit quiet in here...

The 1st ODI between Australia and England in Southampton on June 22 will mark the 3,000th limited over international played; it will have been almost 40 years since a hastily convened game was played between the same two countries at the MCG back in 1971.

By contrast the 2,000th Test will be played some time in late 2011 or early 2012, having had a 90 year head start.

Makes you sick to your stomach doesn't it...

Both teams seem to be stronger in batting than bowling.

I barely recognise the England limited overs teams these days.

So what are Nein doing with their coverage of Wimbledon?

They're only showing the tennis from 10.30 till 1.30, then on to the cricket.

Actually skulls, TGW's comments were about the mess Nein made of their coverage of leeeg when they snaffled the rights from a bankrupt Ten network and moved the Sunday replay to 4pm instead of 6.30

Well, I was paraphrasing, Zoggy, but the big fella certainly took umbrage to the public moaning about not getting the full Ashes coverage during Wimbledon on one of the tour (maybe 93 &/or 97?)
