Not too many Kishore kumars, NFAK ,Shakiras, Noor Jehans and Mehdi Hasans...

shrug

dont follow much desi music. hard to compare with people like rafi and kishore who had 30-40 year careers, but there are some pretty good singers out there. a whole lot more than 20-30 years ago

Can't stand the Indian instrument called Sitar. Much like the violin it gives me headaches. Wasn't Ravi Shankar an exponent of the Sitar in his classical compositions? The male Indian vocalist is fine but the high pitched female vocalists need getting used to. I heard Brett Lee having a go with a well known female Indian singer, forget her name now, but he sounded like a total mismatch with his guitar..

Dont follow much myself but would like to add some new music for my hour and a half long drives every day
