Helpful conditions. Yes, for sure. How else can Indian 'fast' bowlers prosper?
But pitch isn't a minefield as SL FTBs have shown so far. They've still got the best conditions of this match to bat on.

Here is that banner.SG wrote:lol. Jadeja surely is a popular man wherever he goes.
A banner in crowd compares Jadeja with country liquor. I think this is still too high grade for him. He would be as good as desi adulterated tharra in my books.

Lankans will be lucky to set 150 at this rate. 6-fer now and not yet 100 approaching the 30 over mark.

136-7. Tailenders playing it easy. They'll probably make 200.

170. Meh, Indians should do this 3 down in about the 40th over.

Great innings by Sehwag, stranded on 99*. Poor form by Randhiv to bowl a deliberate no-ball, just to deny Viru a century.

that has to be the unluckiest way to get stranded on 99. hit a six off that delivery as well
so 2 99s for sehwag on this tour while trying to hit randiv for a 6. stumped off one and bizzarely he hits a 6 off the other. but the game got over a split second before ball hit bat

Yeah poor form by Randiv there. Bit unsportsmanlike.

Very poor play by SL. But then, they're known for it.
Last year, Malinga deliberately fired one down the leg side for 4 wides to deny Tendulkar a well deserved ton in Cuttack ODI.
Ganguly too faced similar tactics from them once.
So, its in their blood to cheat in this way. Good to see Randiv, a young upcoming spinner upholding their tradition.

Here is what Sanga has to say about this.
"I hope it was not deliberate," he said. "That's not the way I would like to play cricket. If that was intentional, and I have to find out about that, it has got no place on the field of cricket. I will also have to see if there was any talk about it on the field prior to that delivery."
But if there has been some talk about it on the field before the start of that delivery by other players, or maybe a bit of coaxing, I will have to address that very, very strongly in the dressing room."
These are strong words from Sanga.

By deliberately bowling a no-ball when a player is on 99. A big no-ball by at least a foot. You don't bowl this big no-ball accidentally.

Apparently, his back foot was near popping crease. Thats as deliberate a no-ball as you get.

Is Emma scoring slowly to get Viru the ton cheating too?
Is the object of cricket to win matches as a team or get individual milestones?
It's unsportsmanlike and petty but it's hardly cheating (unless he did it on bookie's orders because they would have to pay out on a ton) to lose a game by giving away the winning runs

In that case, no cricketer should celebrate his personal milestones on a cricket field. Is the object of cricket to win matches as a team or get individual milestones?

Clumsiest effort at fixing since Danny Hobby jumped off his horse in the IppyWest Cup if it was

How can you be so sure he was deliberately batting slowly? Is Emma scoring slowly to get Viru the ton cheating too?
His S/r in ODIs of late has been like this unless India is chasing a really huge score which in this case India wasn't.
