Hopeful thoughts are that we'll put up a good fight in helpful conditions and we might just pull off a 2-1 win.
Fearful thoughts are that the sun will produce flat decks and we'll not get the wickets we need and we'll end up losing 5-0 again but with the matches being a little closer overall.

My fear is that our seamers might not come to terms with bowling with the Kokaburra and the score might be 100/0 off 20 before Swanny gets a bowl - in that scenario he would be bowling to defensive fields to stem the flow of runs and his value a a strike bowler would be diminished.
My other fear would be for Punter's brain cells (both of them) to fire.

Hope so, Trev. Although your tipping has been exceedingly poor recently.

Haha. I backed the Paksters again last night. Did your trick- Went to bed with them 46-2 and completely out of it, and woke up to find that Razzaq had gone ballistic and an extra $120 was in my account!

No match winning spinner. Quicks wo run hot and cold. A batting order that's all over the place formwise. Confidence low. And England in better form generally.
Anyone gotta price on them embarrasing us severely?

Pretty fair summation, qmy.Bradman wrote:No match winning spinner. Quicks who run hot and cold. A batting order that's all over the place formwise. Confidence low. And England in better form generally.

Re: Ashes scenarios. Post your thoughts and fears.
The thought of Shane Watson having a 2005 Flintoff-esque series is terrifying.
The thought of bringing Ponting's career to a premature and calamitous end warms the cockles of my heart.
