Western Australia v England, Perth, November 5-7
I don't think England will play their first test side in this match. Reckon they'll go with-
Strauss (c)
Cook
Bell
Pietersen
Collingwood
Morgan
Davies+
Tremlett
Anderson
Finn
Panesar
I'm pretty sure Pietersen will play every tour game, as will Bell and Cook. Swanny is the type of guy who doesn't need a whole lot of bowling to find his rhythm, whilst Anderson is the opposite.

Not sure the poms are taking this game seriouslyENGLAND selectors have named key bowlers James Anderson and Graeme Swann for their tour opener against Western Australia starting in Perth tomorrow.

I believe the crazy idea is a web feed of the scoreboard vision. As for if a mere pom can do it, suggest you try in-game.JKLever wrote:embee wrote: Log on to cricket.com.au for exclusive vision.

FFS, he's out for a duck in the first over as Malfoy jags 2 wickets.
North survived the hattrick ball.

A little grouch:
Strange choice to send Jimmy in with the torch.
Though he's become quite good at it, blocking out 15 balls pretty much negates the whole idea of a warm-up game, doesn't it?
If there's one time you surely DON'T need to use a N/W, it's when there's nothing in particular resting on it but a bit of egg on the face. Whereas Trott or whoever should have been able to show his resolve with little actually at stake if he failed.

At least it shows that they are taking the match seriously, which is an improvement on recent tours.
