I'm bored with the pretence. Yesterday's waspish bitchy attack on two women who didn't deserve it was totally uncalled for. Was it a cynical exercise designed to make us more likely to believe the longstanding pretence of Red's female persona; a sort of faux bitch attack?

The inference as I read it was that they needed to resort to IVF because one or both of them was somehow deficient. But it showed about the same level of sanctimonious pig-ignorance.

Spot on. I never raised gender until someone asked me. And I don't make a big deal out of it - only people who question it do. And it's my prerogative to have views about people's voices. Most on here have opinions/perceptions/interpretations. Don't know why it has to end in nastiness.

The stuff in the press about the reason for Mitchell's departure is true. He's burnt his bridges in Perth.

Grandstand still want to work something out where he's able to call the cricket (especially Tests). It's still up in the air at the moment though.
