I read something about an Australian win?
Didn't really understand.

Isn't there going to be a Test series?

Eventually. Only another 73 JAMODIs first.
(it's 3, actually, just going for a bit of hyperbole)

Hyperbole is good. Hail hyperbole. King of the minnows.

Good effort by Aus. Bowlers done good, fielding was excellent and batting was dominant. Drunky looks a different man at the crease sans-captaincy, and Pup looks assured. Watto continues on his merry prolific way. Only downsides:
1. Why is Smith in the side - for his fielding? Pup clearly doesn't want to bowl him, and his batting is hardly worthy.
2. Why is Haddit opening, [horrie] or even in the side [/horrie]? Give Bog a go, FFS.

So what's Punter averaging since he gave up the captaincy?

5 matches, 261 runs at 87.00. Lowest score 34.

Too soon to declare that giving up the captaincy has saved his career?
...he seems to be making every post a winner so far.

Absolutely not, BD. He looks a different man. Relaxed in both the field and at the crease. Hopefully we get another couple of good years with the bat from him.Big Dog wrote:Too soon to declare that giving up the captaincy has saved his career?

He's still younger than SRT and Dravid.

Aye, and probably in between them in class. May he score another 2500 Test runs and another 1500 JAMODI runs before he calls it quits.

I'd take 3000 test runs and no JAMODI runs.

Aye, but JGK's NSR was "by a few weeks".
