Re: Australian Open Tennis 2012
Possibly but tennis between relatively evenly matched players is all about momentum swings and playing the big points well.

Re: Australian Open Tennis 2012
Federer's game is not remotely equipped to beat Laver's 1970 game any more than Laver could compete against Federer/Murray.
I am confused. They can't each be out of the other's league...

Would be a good match.
Lots of fine strokeplay and variation.

What's the prognosis on Nadal? He's been out of action a while now.

If you're English: yes.
If you're Scottish: he's British again.
If you're half of each: you laugh at the fickleness

You're on 1 demerit point, you have a bright yellow Ferrari, you are probably the most famous traffic offender in the city and the police hate you for what you said about them last year when you were first caught for speeding.
You'd think you'd be a little more careful...
Bernard Tomic caught speeding, loses licence
January 29, 2013 - 3:03PM
Tennis star Bernard Tomic has lost his licence after speeding on the Gold Coast.
Queensland Police said that a 20-year-old man was caught speeding at 78km/h in a 60km/h zone. Tomic was travelling eastward on Salerno Street on the Isle of Capri at the time.
He was caught by an unmarked police car at 10.25am on Tuesday morning. It is believed he was travelling in his bright yellow Ferrari.
The Queensland Police spokeswoman said Tomic was issued with a standard $220 infringement notice, with the loss of three demerit points.
Tomic was driving on a 12-month good behaviour licence, which only has one demerit point, because of a string of prior traffic offences.

Just when you think he couldn't be any more of a c*nt.
He's already the next Mark Philippoussis, although with not so much natural talent. I reckon he'll be completely off the rails and beyond hope by the age of 24.
