I missed the fact that the new head of the NRL is Welsh. A Welsh Banker - that's a gee-up, right??

Agree with these sentiments. Still, his manager is hawking Folau's fork out very successfully. For a barely above average player, he is raking in the massive dosh.baggygreen wrote:Code-hopping is so amusing, in a retarded sort of way.

Titans 'hire porn actress as trainer'
By WWOS staff
21:30 AEST Fri Nov 30 2012
Gold Coast Titans are under fire after
appointing a fetish-porn actress as strength and conditioning coach for
the club’s under-20s team.
The Courier Mail reports that the woman, Kortney Olson, is married to David May, the recently appointed Titans chief executive.
The bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast reportedly has a variety of
material, including videos, on pornography and bodybuilding websites.
The Titans have defended Olson’s appointment, saying that she is only a
volunteer and not an employee of the club after she was appointed to
the position two weeks ago with the full knowledge of her husband.
It is an unwanted scandal for the club, which nearly went bankrupt earlier this season with debts of $25 million.
It might work.

Re: Rugby League 2013
I see Reni Maitua is in the nooz again,,,
"PARRAMATTA have sacked Toyota Cup player Shaun Anderson for knocking out clubmate and NRL star Reni Maitua on a night out in Kings Cross.
The Eels say they have conducted a full investigation into the incident that took place over the weekend outside the Tunnel nightclub in Kings Cross, and have cleared senior player Maitua of any wrongdoing.
Anderson, 18, has had his contract terminated for punching Maitua to the ground.
It's the second up-and-coming talent the Eels have sacked in the past week, after they also tore up the contract of Jamil Hopoate for bad behaviour at an NRL rookie camp in Sydney."

Reni is supposedly reformed.

the new rules ensure that a Victorian born and raised player cannot pollute the SOO (unless they are the son of a former Origin player).
So, all good.

Re: Rugby League 2013
Apologies if this an NTR, but just seen a story on Yahoo that the father of the 'bomb collar girl' is the new NRL Akela.
Come on, the sooner we start with the 'collar - neck - lack thereof - RL' comedy stuff, the sooner it'll be done with....

Has Snorky Sterling left Nein? In the ads in the cricket he now has his own show on Thursday nights on Foxy.
Apologies if I'm way behind the times. I haven't watched the Leeeeg Footy Show in years.
