The Slinger completely bamboozled the Wozzies. 6-7 in his 4 overs. Sandies currently 9-59.

Fizzlers all out for 69. Lowest ever score in a Aus Domestic 20/20. Well played Justin Langer Supercoach.

Possibly, but it's very mixed up in the BBL with guys playing for rival states all over the place. Teams are selected draught-like from a pool.

One ball and the game is over? BBL authorities have plastic in their head as well.

Wow. I turned this off thinking they'd never get the overs in.

Are Malinga's figures the best ever List A T20 figures?

Second best after Arul Suppiah's vs Glamorgan 6/5 in 3.4 overs last year.

Stoinis was in the Oz U19 team in 2008 ...played a couple of FC games for the Wozzies in 2009 without impressing ...currently playing Vomit District Cricket and Futures League ...played for the Scarborough club in Perth and his favourite player was the NLWL (who was also from the Scarborough club)

Hilton Cartright played in the same school team as Mitch Marsh ...had a super Futures League game about a month ago and has found his way into the Wozzie chainsaw team and now the Fizzlers because of injury to Mitch Marsh ...he's an all rounder with a bit of promise

Mennie is a Sozzie Shield player who the Scorchers signed last season after Johnson broke his foot ...he played for them in the CL

And cheers t. Was looking around for the English records last night. Wiki had an English 20/20 page but didn't have best bowling figures included.

Malinga went within a bee's dick of bowling Fudd with his last ball last night. Would've given him 7/7.

Don't both sides need to have faced 5 overs?

The target at 5 overs under D/L for the Vile Stars was 29. They made 29 off the first 2 overs before the rain sent them packing, activating D/L. They got back on just before the time cut off. As they already had the runs they only needed to face one ball after the rain break to make it a game i.e. they got the 29 required under D/L in 2.1 overs and didn't need the full 5 overs.

I hope that embee and zim put aside any parochial inclinations and consider the proposition on its merits...I think they would represent a fair test of worrier attitudes to such proposals...sadll we no longer have a jellyback supporter here to give their views
