Re: 2013 Masters
Scott couldn't make a putt all day until the final hole & then Cabrera makes a sensational approach shot to force a playoff. Talk about drama.
And then Cabrera's putt on the final playoff hole went so close.
This is one of my all-time favourite sporting moments.

Wow, what theatre!!! Firstly Scott sinks a monster on 18 to seemingly have it, then Cabrera nails it to within 2 feet. Then on the 2nd play-off hole, Cabrera leaves it on the the lip to open the door for Adam Scott.
Congrats to Scott, the first Aussie to break the Masters hoodoo!!! Huzzah!!

Most exciting, a brilliant finish, both players under tremendous pressure.
As an Englishman, I was rooting for Angel ....... but congratulations to Scotty, he held his nerve well, and deserved his win.
A pretty good day all round for Aus golf, I think.

The game and karma looked after him today. Brilliant, just brilliant.
Day is a talent, that's confirmed. Leishmann was impressive, hanging about the top for 3 days. What about Cabrera, sublime all round golf from the old bloke.

Great to know that we're still less likeable than an Argie. We're doing something right.

Re: 2013 Masters
Far too long a night for a terribly long day today.
Congratulations to Scott and the Australians. Brilliant win and a farking fantastic tournament overall for Australia. Only really started to like Scott after his conduct post the Open championship. He deserves it as a player, and thankfully hasn't gone the way of Westwood and Garcia.
Four straight Masters championships with brilliant finishes and I'm still busy jerking off at Olesen's last two rounds. Good stuff.

He has some game trike. Sadly, we still see too much Tiger/fat Phil & not enough of others playing well at the time.

Yep.
Still shaking my head at Cabrera's approach on the 18th by the way.

aye, it was heroic.
I can't recall him missing a shot over the final nine in either 2009 or 2013.

Re: 2013 Masters
I only just read that Woods's illegal drop was only picked up because a tv viewer rang up and reported it.
Apparently he was calling from Australia, had an english accent and muttered something about a bad day.
Must be the worst Masters for Seppos. Only 3 in the top 10

The more I think about the "ruling' his drop was legal the more p*ssed I get. How the f*ck is 2 yards as "near as possible"?
It's no surprise Woods didn't uphold well established ethical protocol.

aye, no doubt it's had a digital enhancement but one he'd want to keep I'd reckon.
