England v Australia, ICCCT Match 3, Edgbaston, 8 June, 2013
To me it's all or nothing with Aus. Either the likes of Warner and Hughes will go apeshit, or they'll all fail miserably. I'm guessing the latter tonight.

I've had enough sleep but am ready to 'go napping' when England are batting in the powerplays.
Re: England v Australia, ICCCT Match 3, Edgbaston, 8 June, 2013
I admit i looked at the movie guide to see if there was something else worth watching but, alas, nothing, so i guess i will attempt to watch for as long as i can stand our ineptitude......then i'll prolly go to bed.

I'm up the coast at the old cheese's. I'm heading around to my little bro's to watch Aus get smashed tonight. Might have a few cheeky reds to numb the senses and laugh at Aus's ineptitude.

Or if England bat first, how many overs of the top four blocking then chipping one to mid wicket for 30-odd you can watch... staying awake until the lower order attempts to tee off in the 45th over in a desperate attempt to get near 250 might be a challenge.

Wellll... Swann is out with a bad back. Finn's out too, couldn't tell, because Cook was muttering, but I think that's a selection issue rather than injury. Bopara is in.
Re: England v Australia, ICCCT Match 3, Edgbaston, 8 June, 2013
Australia 1 Shane Watson, 2 David Warner, 3 Phil Hughes, 4 George Bailey (capt), 5 Adam Voges, 6 Mitchell Marsh, 7 Matthew Wade (wk), 8 James Faulkner, 9 Mitchell Johnson, 10 Mitchell Starc, 11 Clint McKay

Does Swanny have a history of back problems? At least it's not the elbow....

Well, he's 34 so a dodgy back once in a while probably goes without saying - no point taking any chances with the Ashes coming up.

This looks a belter of a wicket.

I think I must have transported to Australia. I feel all tired.
Re: England v Australia, ICCCT Match 3, Edgbaston, 8 June, 2013
What is it with Johnson and Hitler, anyway?
Re: England v Australia, ICCCT Match 3, Edgbaston, 8 June, 2013
Good start, belter of a pitch.....worth sending Morgan in at three ahead of Trott?

Perhaps, but we all know they wouldn't change the nominated batting order even if the first wicket fell with 5 overs remaining...

Pretty sedate IMO. No risks whatsoever. Missionary position, in essence.

Another 30, let's hope this isn't a pattern that continues into this summer's main event. There's no excuse for batsmen getting starts and not going on.
