Australia should take comfort in the fact that batsmen can doddle along at under 80 scoring rate and get MOTM if they can muster a handy half tonnish. Surely we have someone who can do that.

Of course our pie chuckers don't help matters.

gotta love the rubbish match report: called Faulkner a Victorian, and claims that MJ's bowling performance justifies a late call-up to the Ashes squad.

Faulkner is one of the few bright spots for Aus. You could have a genuine all rounder there.

I'd seriously consider playing both Swann and Tredwell for the rest of the tournament. Weather is dry, and the pitches are gripping a bit.

Well - yeah. A decent bowling performance by England, aided by a poor batting performance by Aus who don't seem to like English conditions a great deal.
