It doesn't really matter, Nath ... we're not going to win any of the ODIs and will be lucky not to be utterly humiliated in the Tests.

Swann's (twitter) response, highlighted on Cricinfo, to Anderson's effort at now being England's top ODI wicket-taker: "a superb effort from the Burnley medium pacer".

Australia should take comfort in the fact that batsmen can doddle along at under 80 scoring rate and get MOTM if they can muster a handy half tonnish. Surely we have someone who can do that.
Of course our pie chuckers don't help matters.

gotta love the rubbish match report: called Faulkner a Victorian, and claims that MJ's bowling performance justifies a late call-up to the Ashes squad.

Faulkner is one of the few bright spots for Aus. You could have a genuine all rounder there.
I'd seriously consider playing both Swann and Tredwell for the rest of the tournament. Weather is dry, and the pitches are gripping a bit.

Well - yeah. A decent bowling performance by England, aided by a poor batting performance by Aus who don't seem to like English conditions a great deal.
