Time for bed. I hold faint hopes of Aus making a game of this.

Maxwell's batting is below the level needed to get out.

17 off the second last over, Maxwell finally gets the silver hammer out...unforch most likely too late.

Well that last 10 overs was utterly inept from Australia.

'Should' is not a word that has a lot of relevance in the context of Oz cricket nowadays.

NZ's batting is pretty flaky. 240 could be defendable if Aus take a few wickets inside the first 20 overs.

I'm glad that SOMEONE bothered to mention him.
26 @ 17.
4-fers against all FOUR countries he's played.

He looked useful when he played here last summer. I was surprised he didn't get the test nodBrass Monkey wrote:taipan wrote:NZ's Mitchell>> than Aussie Mitchells

Like every other Kiwi, bar Hadlee and maybe Chatfield, he's as brittle as peanuts in caramel.
Re: Australia v New Zealand, 7th ICCCT Match, Edgbaston, 12 June, 2013
Chatfield was dead and kept playing ...I think he'd make the tough team for that ...although dying was a bit piss weak

So it's Luke Raunchy according to Sourav Ganguly
Clearly has an eye on him.

If this game is rained off, then Aus have to hope that England beat Sri Lanka tomorrow, right?

Yes but it's not necessary. What is more important is if England beat nz by a big margin.Henry wrote:If this game is rained off, then Aus have to hope that England beat Sri Lanka tomorrow, right?

You're obviously just jealous "The New Sachin" is not Indian.furriner wrote:Coming in late but I hoped he also kicked Root after he punched him.

Rained off. Feel a bit sorry for George Bailey but rather glad Aus only have 1 point.

Reckon Australia would've won this one - unlucky - but ultimately, meh.
Re: Australia v New Zealand, 7th ICCCT Match, Edgbaston, 12 June, 2013
So the weather saved Aus from an embarrassing loss?
Stoopid Cricinfo is struggling to load here in Sydney, again. Pretty lame that I have to go to the CA site to get the scores.

I fell asleep as the tail was collapsing. Midge had just holed out at mid off to make it 8-219. I though my 233 prediction was looking good, but looks like Yoody Big Show managed to smoke a couple.
Looks like it may have been a decent game in the offing.
Oh well.
Now if CA will send Warner home, it'll make my day.

It's been shit in Sydney for the past week. Trev has had the same drama. Must be a local server issue.
