Diving and being stretchered off shits me to tears. Last night in the NRL, one of the Rooters players had a guy accidentally dive front on into his knee which hyperextended. He was rolling around on the ground in obvious pain but eventually hobbled off without a stretcher.
No doubt soccer players are pansies
But in fairness being kicked in the shins or ankles with studs bloody hurts.
Try it some time.

What is the difference between a fox and a dog?
About a $100 per month.
About 4 drinks.

Hehehe, good story. So who does Hill follow? I used to know once, but don't care.JGK wrote:G.Wood wrote:skully wrote:Ah. Cheers A. Still, TFFFoxy.
There was a bit in the paper that said 0.5M people watched the WC qualifier on Foxy and 1.5M watched it on SBS. Given that the SBS coverage included Craig Foster (and was delayed) I assume anyone who had a choice would watch it on Fox.
I was amazed that so many people still don't have Foxy
As mentioned in another thread, I met Simon Hill the other night. Was happy (I think) to give me a lot of his time until I mentioned that I am a Man U fan. And I used the word "soccer".
I have a vague feeling it might be Woody's Scousers. Or some other shit side, like the Hammers.

Ah, that would make sense. Then again, I'd expect Hill's reaction to JGK's proclamation from most football fans. I hope he kicked him in the shins.

Even people who have never watched a game of football in their life have that reaction

Yup. Citeh.
So, to recap. I support his team's arch rivals, I called his sport soccer rather than football, I called some soccer players soft and I had impure thoughts about his wife who was standing next to him.
I was lucky to get 30 seconds with him to be honest.

Fantastic Izzy try gets the Wobblies back in it, after the Lions shut them out for the past 20 minutes. 12-13 with a conversion to come.

Can't play tests without a goal kicker.

Aye, weak effort. The Lions goal kicker is a dead eye.

Guilty. Had a few at friends this arvo, so my motor & neuron skills may be a bit impaired right now.

Why the heck not. I'd have done the same were it not half twelve!
