Australia v England, 5th Test, Sydney, 3-7 January, 2014
So Aus take a 4-0 lead to the SCG.

Well 5-0 is now pretty much inevitable. I'd bring in Ballance for Carberry, Borthwick for Panesar, and Tremlett for Bresnan.

Expecting Harris and possibly Watson to be rested. Possibly for Bollinger and Faulkner

Aust will go in unchanged. Harris just declared himself fit to play and Watto didn't look like a guy in discomfort today.

Why do you only show up on this forum after Australian victories?

I'm quite sure Aus will play unchanged
All this resting and pampering nonsense seems out with this old fashioned coach they have now.

It's amazing how players tend to stay fit in a winning team. And I'm honestly not being cynical. When Aus were losing, a player was getting injured every match.

Sam Robson. If you guys really want him to play for you, then now is the chance to lure him with a test call-up.

Yeah, England used to use this justification to keep picking Tim Bresnan.
Depressingly, they still do, albeit increasingly modified: "We've won a lot of Tests with him in the side."
By the end of the series it'll be: "We haven't lost that many series with him in the side."
Best of luck.

I'm not entirely sure, as the qualification rules seem to change on a weekly basis, but I think it's all over now he's played for England Lions.

I think this is the key point. We really have no one knocking down the door to replace Beetle.

Aw Trev, now that's a little bit churlish, no? Merls came back when England were winning and most of us welcomed him back warmly.
Although I have to say it's amazing PearlJ hasn't shown up.

Did we f*ck. He came back when England were 3-0 up and predicted a whitewash.
England haven't won a game since.
Useless Tory spunk receptacle.
