Thought Smith might get MOTM because it seemed to be a bowler's match and as good as Harris was, some of the batsmen meekly surrendered to him. Smith got tough runs on day one.

Midge now 13th on the most wickets in a series list, and 3rd most in Aus, behind Hoggy in 78/79 and Maurice Tate in 24/25. Who would've believe that could happen??

The obvious problem is that the 281 was the 2nd highest aggregate for England, behind KP's 291. I hope Carbs gets another chance.
