Now...tonight i have the choice of watching the Test or the walking dead. I don't think i'll miss anything whichever one i watch.

As a wise man texted me not long ago, God we suck!!!
FMD, I cooked dinner for the Pa-in-law this evening, then we went up to visit the Ma-in-law (she had a recent fall at home) in hospital. When we left, Smitty and Puddle we doing OK at 4 for 200-odd. Then apparently* we shit ourselves. Just awful.

Dire end after some solid resistance..... To conclude 'megalulzin and shit'.
Re: Pakistan v Australia, 2nd Test, Abu Dhabi, 30 October - 3 November, 2014
Well done Pakistan. What a ruthless, calculated performance from them. Can Misbah now be talked about in the same breath as Imran and Javed as a captain?

Boof seems to have lost his grip on both reality and the team he's involved with.
Two crushing Test defeats can't be doing much for his credit rating!

It's hardly his fault if his players are crap against spin.

Clarke is atrocious at being able to inspire his players. On a par with Cook in that regard. He is also apparently mightily annoyed that he has no say in the selection of the team.

But Clarke as selector also was problematic because he was perceived as having a conflict of interest within the team. Considering he is highly revered as a captain in some quarters, four series losses in a relatively short time doesn't read well. Lehmann was also much praised during the home Ashes but his reign could yet end in tears.
Still despite all the doom and gloom the sub-continent has been a common denominator when it comes to dire performances from our teams over the past decade or so. It has been one win from the last fifteen tests.

My point is that his inspiration seems to be clearly lacking.
The same inspiration that turned a team of Ashes losers into Ashes whitewashers just over a year ago!
