Stoopid Day did a Norman and tried to hit a miracle shot at the 16th after three-putting the 15th for bogey. The result - he sank it in the green-side lake.

7 putts from 2 feet for a 10 (worst ever start to a Masters). FMD!! Shocked

He's got the yips, the poor guy. Terrible thing to happen to one of the nicest guys on the tour.

Back Nine has been costly for Day so far. In two rounds he is 8 over (+5 yesty & +3 today) on the inward 9.

The world has gone completely mad...

High wind gusts of up to 40km/h continued to buffet Augusta National, making the slick greens ridiculously tricky, but Day managed a one-under 71 to move to even-par 216 for the tournament. He sits just three shots back of world No.2 Spieth, who dropped three shots in his final two holes to rejuvenate the chasing pack. Spieth was cruising at six under with two holes to play only to slice his drive on 17 into trees on the way to a bogey.

1 Jordan Spieth -3 18
2 Smile Kaufman -2 18
T3 Bernhard Langer -1 18
T3 Hideki Matsuyama -1 18

Crikey, awesome work on my part. He was standing over his tee shot on the 17th when I made my "impregnable" post. JGKesque. cheers

Maybe there's hope for Day after all. He actually didn't drop any shots (overall) on the inward nine today. He's only 3 off the pace.

It will be even madder tomorrow if on the honor board Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, Watson, Woods, Ballesteros. Faldo etc etc are joined by a bloke called Smiley Kauffman....

Spieth possibly choking harder than anyone has ever choked, whilst at the same time a bloke from Rotherham has just started playing a blinder.

I see that JGK got Bernhard good and proper in the end.

Such powers really should only be used for good.

Spieth not out of this yet... Put on a tenner when I saw him at 10-1, wish I'd made it 20 now, looking like being 1 behind with 2 to play...

Yeah, MB's correct. Wouldn't have counted. Holmes would have replaced the ball.

Willett and Oosthuizen are two who really beg the question of how much further would they be if not for their backs. Westwood's T2 was quite surprising given how bad he's been. Spieth, well shit happens... Class act yesterday. Fitzpatrick showing again that he's a top prospect.

Major Championship commentary is the worst.

Was great to watch, although I did feel for Spieth when he was putting the green jacket on Willett.

Affiebarnrat was particularly irritating by the commentators. But yeah, decent tournament by him (not much more, he has the potential to be better) in an otherwise lacklustre return among the Asian tour guns.

Hate to admit it because Augustus national is twat central, but their app is on point where the coverage wasn't.
