Since around 2001, Australian under 19 and A teams have extensively toured the Sub Continent.

I think the problem might be that your two most senior batsmen and their egos decided that charging one of the world's best spinners and trying to smash him out of the ground was a good strategy.

aye. playing "the Australian way" isn't the best strategy on wickets away from home.

Tah. Saved me from mouthing off about arrogance and an inability to read old scorecards. Read at all probably.

He played for the Scorchers for a couple of seasons

If he came West he'd be behind NCN Dorf and Paris with Mackin Moody and Duffield as competition

Fair chance most of them will be injured though

Yes - Mennie gets ignored by the mass media selection pushers, and Worrall at the other end is ignored; but one good performance from Dubber Tremain and he's already pencilled in for future Test honours.

Today, Laurie Harper's nephew top-scored with 72 for the National Performance Squad. Then Simon O'Donnell's son made early inroads into the India A batting. He currently has 6/0/11/3 having opened the bowling with Tom Moody's nephew.

India A recovered & are now cruising to victory.

O'Donnell's sprog came a cropper against the Saffies. 47/0 off six.

SA won, largely due to a 124 n.o. by Miller. Nice to see Jewell in the runs at last. Very talented youngster.
