South Africa v Australia, 5xODIs, 27 Sep - 12 Oct, 2016
So ... Tremain (Baggygreen in brown paper bag), Worrall, and Mennie are all in.
Lyon, Henriques, Starc, Heazlewood, and Khawaja out.
Injured S Marsh and Finch still in.
'What is going on'?

Heazlewood, you say? Fosheazel?
I'm pleased for Tremain (yes, of course a baggy green in a bag. It's a Dubber birthright!!), Worrell and Mennie. I hope they excel.

Well, they can't have any of these. We don't want our cricketers playing for Australia. They are only available for the Sheffield Shield.
Maybe they could have Marnus Labuschagne.
....... and Peter Forrest.

As if this series could'nt get more crap. Allrounder James Faulkner and batsman Shaun Marsh have both been ruled out of the five-match ODI series that starts on September 30. Marsh is still recovering from a broken finger, while Faulkner tweaked his calf on Thursday. Usman Khawaja has been added to the squad as Marsh's replacement.

And Koo is in hospital after cutting his knee on a mystery sharp object, FFS.

ABdV not a certain starter in warm up v Paddies
"The Proteas could be forced to field a different captain in the historic ODI against Ireland in Benoni on Sunday with regular skipper AB de Villiers still an injury concern.
...
De Villiers’s withdrawal would be a big blow to an already trimmed-down Proteas squad. The selectors have opted for only 13 players – the squad for the Australian series has been beefed up to 16 – with senior players like Hashim Amla, Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir being given one extra week to rest up. There also three potential ODI debutants – batsman Temba Bavuma and all-rounders Andile Phehlukwayo and Dwaine Pretorius – set to line-up against the Irish already and there could be a fourth if De Villiers doesn’t take the field on Sunday."
-------------------------------------
Play, AB, then chuck your elbow out. There's a good boy.

More on ABdV
"Star Proteas batsman faces fitness test today that will decide availability for ODI and Test series' against Australia.
South Africa are expected to know later today if they can call on the brilliance of their captain AB de Villiers in upcoming ODI and Test campaigns against arch-foes Australia.
...
If the 32-year-old, who hasn't played for two months, has shown little obvious recovery from the impingement syndrome injury that is afflicting his left elbow and he is sent for surgery in search of a cure, then he will be sidelined for up to eight weeks.
Which rules him out of the five-match ODI series against Australia that begins at Centurion near Pretoria on Friday and, more significantly, the subsequent three-Test tour to Australia that immediately follows the series on South African soil."
--------------------------------
Looks in serious doubt.
